Glass & Steel Bottle Starter Kit
Honey goes in wax, not plastic. Milk can go in glass or steel.
PANEL 1
B peers into a glass bottle like a telescope.
“I can see the stars — and the milk!”
PANEL 2
A plastic bottle steams in a microwave.
“Heat + plastic = no-fly zone.”
PANEL 3
B high-fives a steel bottle.
“Unbreakable co-pilot.”
Step by step
- Start with 2–4 small borosilicate glass bottles (4–5 oz) with silicone sleeves.
- Use medical-grade silicone nipples; replace when worn.
- Never heat milk or sterilize in the microwave in plastic.
- Cool sterilized water before mixing in plastic parts (if any).
- Add a stainless option for travel later.
Study glowA 2020 Nature Food study found polypropylene bottles prepared with hot water can release microplastics.
